Tsadik Child

Tsadik is a word from the Hebrew meaning righteously righteous and perfectly perfect. It's a word that describes who Christ is. It's a word that we could never live up to, a word that could never describe us, as humans. As a result of that inability to reach that standard that Christ has set before us we could never get to Heaven, not on our own.

In God's grace and love for us, He sent us His only Son to Earth to die on the cross and rise again so that we may have eternal life (John 3:16). His death was sacrifice for our sin (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus Christ didn't do anything wrong, He was blameless, yet He died for us. When we accept Jesus' death and resurrection and ask Him to come into our hearts and be the Lord of our lives is when we accept that gift. From that moment on, when God looks at us He doesn't see our sin, our guilt, and all our imperfections, He sees Jesus in us. Christ makes us holy, He makes us tsadik.

I am a Christian, I have asked Jesus into my heart and I live my life as a slave to Him. As a result of this, in God's eyes I am tsadik. Not of anything I've done, but it is Christ who lives within me (Ephesians 2:8-9). And that's what this blog is going to be about. It's about how to live a life for Christ and what that looks like in today's world. I don't know everything about how to live for God, I'm not going to say that I do, but what I do know I want to share. Feel free to challenge me if you disagree with what I'm saying. I want to learn more about Christianity, I want to know other view points.

Thank you for reading and I pray you'll have a praise-filled day.
